meet the aguilars: this is no honeymoon

everyone says 2nd trimester is the honeymoon period.... more energy, less urination at night, better sleep, no morning sickness, less hair loss, sleep better, blah blah blah. while i definitely don't have morning sickness anymore and have more energy/less fatigue, it's no honeymoon for me this time around. with my 1st pregnancy, i LOVED the 2nd trimester. it was all they said it would be. it was definitely honeymoon period.... i "was in" hawaii, bora bora, caribbean... you name it! haha. but with this one, i still have all the other issues plus i started feeling pelvic separation already (last time it didn't start until 32 weeks!). i also have hip, tailbone and right hand pain, gum looks a little worse and i'm so much bigger earlier.

it's 5am and i'm blogging. i haven't had a decent sleep in 2 weeks. i pampered myself yesterday with nails, massage and facial and i still can't sleep well. i'm still urinating a lot at night, very uncomfortable, need to constantly switch sides, often worried with work and other things, have ridiculous dreams and this LA heat is horrible (we don't have air conditioning in the bedroom). i'm so tired all the time. i just want to sleep 8 straight hours for once. i wonder if i should get a prescription for ambien.... i'm feeling desperate.

so you don't think this post is all about venting (sorry!), the baby has been kicking a lot. he's definitely in my belly... it's nice to get an indication from time to time. :) i can't wait for mik to feel it. i start to wonder what he'll look like and what his personality will be. maki has been having crazy tantrums lately and picky with food. uggghhh....

everyone asks me if we already have a name picked out and says that it will be tough since maki's name is so cool. can't really name this one george or robert or something normal that!

ok... will try to go back to sleep now. wish me luck....
