happy bday papa

dear papa:

happy bday to the best papa in the world!  you work a full-time job and do freelancing work on the side, but you still manage to take care of maki all day on fridays, take him to parent and me on tues and thurs afternoons and squeeze in errands (grocery shopping, car wash, etc).  you feed us and cater to mama's prego cravings.  you read and sing to us at bedtime.  you always help take care of maki and even take the maki-shifts on weekend mornings.  you make sure we go to church every sunday.  you act as our outfit patrol so we are dressed nicely and color-coordinated to events.  you fixed the sprinkler system and whatever else that's broken.  you always take out the trash and break down mama's endless amazon and diaper boxes.  on top of that, you manage to stay in shape and look good for mama.  ;)  we can go on and on so there's not more we can ask for.  thank you so much for all that you do.  we love you papa.  not just today but everyday.
