maki's 2nd bday daycare celebration

on maki's actual bday, we brought cupcakes to maki's daycare and had a toy story theme - his fave! his friends sang to him and this one girl said very clearly "happy birthday malakai!" whaaaa?!!! maki can't even say his own name yet (at the time - he can say "maki" now)! it was really cute to see them all sitting on the table and not interacting. ;)  kaz finished his cupcake and pretty much licked the plate. haha. maki only ate the oreo cookies on top!  then afterwards, we took him to his first movie - the lego movie. it was one of those fancy movie theaters where you have reserved seats. thought he would like it since he loves legos.  good thing there were only 2 other people in there because halfway into it, after he got sick of all the popcorn and candy, he got restless. he stood on the chair and then ran around inside! we gave up 40 min into the movie. i guess he's not ready yet even though he can sit through an entire movie at home. it could also be the sugar from the cupcakes... we took him to a nearby park and played around for an hour or so before going home. hope you had a great bday, makidoodoo! mama, papa and ezee love you very much!
