meet the aguilars: maki turns 2!

happy happy 2nd birthday to makidoodoo! thanks to our baby love for giving us two years of laughter and so much love. last sunday we had a low-key celebration with the aguilar fam. today we had cupcakes at his daycare. afterwards, we took him to his first movie theater (with reserved seats!) to see the lego movie. he lasted 40 min. doh! he was standing on his seat, talking a little and was running around towards the end. good thing there were only 3 other people watching that time! needless to say, we had to leave early and took him to a park instead. when we got home, he saw wowo and grandma with ezee. i feel bad that we aren't having a big party for him but as papa says, we don't need a big party every year and with ezee just being born, we just can't plan something big. we'll go big for his 3rd bday! hope our lil prince had a great day. we are going to the natural history museum with his buddies maelle and kaz on saturday so we'll be celebrating all week! :)
